Hi,

my fiance and I want to get married in St. Thomas. We are considering using Island Wedding Services to help coordinate. Every book I've read highly recommends getting reviews before hiring but I can't find any. Do you know this provider or where I can find reviews.

We are also interested in reviews on Sunset Villa for the ceremony and reception.

thanks!

Default St Thomas Weddings

Hi,

Sorry the delay in posting the response. I did not hit the right button to get this to you, so I take the full blame on that. Hopefully this information can still help you.

As for the company that you speak of I have to say sorry I do not know them. We have not worked with them on any weddings there so I cannot give you any background. However I can tell you, who we have used in the past there, Weddings the Island Way. We have used them for villa weddings with great success. I do like the way they work, very professional, get back to you on time and truly care about creating an excellent experience for our clients.

As for the Sunset Villa, that is one I have not been in, I will be honest to say that we have not had a wedding there. But one point I do want to make sure you check out is that they allow wedding celebrations. Many of the Caribbean villas are now starting to put limits, or high deposit or refusing to have weddings at the villa other then the ceremony. Too much damage and ones on the hill a liability factor. So that is something that you need to ask the company who you are going through to rent the place. And also ask if the wedding can be of a certain limit of people.

I wish that I could give you a big but not knowing either the planner or the villa in detail would be wrong. I admit that our company over 10 years has been to many places for destination weddings, but not all. So this is one I truly and honestly cannot give you any solid advise at this time.

Best Wishes on your special day!

Take Care,
Lindsay
