Question BM Gifts

So, I was thinking of putting together a "pampering basket" for my BM's. Chris and I are on a tight budget, but I don't want to skimp on these girls after they've gotten their dresses, shoes, hair, etc...

I was at bath and body works the other day and they had their mini jar candles, full size soaps and mini lotions on sale for $1. I also found coconut lime foot scrub for $.50 at target. I was at the trade center the other day and found lavender potporri pillows tied with a purple ribbon with a thistle on top for $.75. I want to remove the thistle and add a butterfly and then find some cute baskets and fill them with these and other finds that I come across. Then, I'd like to put a 10-15 dollar gift card to various stores depending on their likes (my sister would like one to a gas station, my other bm would love one to itunes and my MOH/BFF would LOVE one to Naughty Time Novelties )

What do you all think? I just don't want to get them just a big gift card to somewhere. Not only does it not allow me to bargain shop, but to me, i'd feel...like I didn't take the time to build them something nice.

what do you all think?

I think it sounds great--you get something pampering and personal, and even personalizing the gift cards--they'll know you really thought about them and cared what you were getting.

I think that's a great idea.

That way you can kinda personalize it.

You could even get the girls their favorite scented or colored candles.

I did something similar.

I got them each a pair of cute flip flops in their favorite color then I tied their gift card to get their hair done to the flip flops. Actually turned out cute!

I think it's a great idea! They'll know you took the time to individualize it and that you really appreciate that they will be there with you on your wedding day!

I love that idea. I am sure it will make them feel as though you have put a lot of thought into what you gave them!!

I think it's a great idea, and I wouldn't even bother with the gift cards b/c the baskets are personal and show a lot of thought.

I like the flip flop idea too. Maybe you can get them that instead of the gift card.
