Default Couple questions- fall colors, winter wedding- help!

Well, I'm just beginning to plan a December/possibly January wedding. I'm quite partial to the warm autumn-y colors, like chocolate, latte, cream, etc, although my Mom isn't sure if we should do quite that much fall color in a winter wedding. I have a couple of questions, but let me set the scene:

Here is the location:

Here's the dress:

Here is something similar to what my MOH (my only attendant) will be wearing:

Here are my two flower choices, in Royal Rose- the first is terracotta and the second is terracotta and orange:

The questions are:
1- what color should my Mom wear? She doesn't look as good in browns as she would in black or navy, but I'm not sure what we could do so that she looks like she fits in!

2- Tuxes- typically black which I like, but how do we incorporate the warmer colors like the chocolate and cream?

3- Does my MOH's dress look like it goes with my dress? I keep thinking we've kind of got two different styles.

I keep wondering if maybe I shouldn't scrap the chocolate brown, and go with black for my Mom and MOH, and then do red or ivory flowers instead of trying to coordinate the terracotta and chocolate. Suggestions??

Okay so first, welcome! And of course congrats. I love your venue! And that dress is gorgeous!!! But... to your questions.

First off, if you want shades of brown, go for it! If you love it, you can totally rock it. There's a lot that goes with brown for your mom. Could she do a lighter shade of brown? Maybe something with some gold in it? Pinks are always popular with brown. Or green. A sagey green. There are so many possibilities with brown!

Okay, so to incorporate the chocolate and cream in the tuxes... ask for off-white, not white, shirts for the boys. And the vests and ties can be brown. Or that latte-gold color of your sash for you FH.

Honestly, I don't think the MOH dress is nearly formal enough compared to yours. At least go for floor length for her. That's my recommendation.

Hope I was somewhat helpful! Keep asking questions if you have them!

Thanks for the input!

I think its back to the drawing board for my MOH's dress- she's my only attendant, so we're lucky that we're not hunting for a dress that flatters everyone- I don't know how people do that, it would drive me crazy! lol
