BM Dresses?!?
Okay I have a terrible time deciding on the bridesmaid dresses. I took one of the girls first and I had her try on about 20 different dresses and we finally narrowed it down to 3! After all the girls went and tried the 3 finalists on, I had them give me a list of their favorites in order of 1,2,3... Not saying I was making the decision based off of their opinions, but I would take it into consideration.
So I thought I had it narrowed down, even told the girls the amount, and a deadline for ordering the dresses. The dealine is 2 months away, and I found several more that I like that are new. We are having to stick with David's Bridal because the MOH is actually about 4 hrs away and its the only dress shop that is both here and there for her to participate as much as possible without driving 4 hrs each time.
Here's the one I picked as the finalist before seeing the new dresses that JUST came out:
And here are the other's that I would like to take one of the girls to try them on and see if they are even possibilities:
Is it too late to change the dress if I end up liking one of the new ones? And which one is your favorite?

My fave is the first of the last 3 new ones.
I'd say check with your BMs. See if they are open to changing it..., that's what I personally would do. I've found myself basically telling mine to do whatever they want as long as they're comfortable!
But if you definitely prefer them to be in one of those last three I don't think it'd be bad of you to ask them to try them on at least. Maybe they'll like them better too!

My favorite is the first of the new three also, but I, for example, would not be able to wear it. So definitely have them try it on before switching. I like the one you chose originally better than the other two new ones, personally. Although I'm basing my judgement of the second one purely on the back because I don't really like the big bow thing. The front could be very pretty.
I agree, it isn't too late to change if you want to; nothing wrong with that!

I vote for the FIRST one.
I dont think its too late, as long as they havent ordered them and if the price it relatively the same. They shouldnt get upset about changing. . .its your wedding!

I love the first of the new three also! I chose the original one first because it works for the three different body types.
My MOH is 5'9" with big tata's, small waist, and big hips... The first BM is 5' flat and medium chest, but a big butt... The last BM is 5'6" very thin, small chest, and small hips! Its very hard to find a dress that suits them all! At first I was going to do the same thing as BJC, allow them to wear any dress as long as they all wore long dresses of the same color, but after looking at the choices they had come up with and seeing how completely different they all looked, I decided against it...
Thanks for the opinions ladies!

I agree with everyone else - it's not too late until the dresses have been ordered.
However, it would be a good idea for them to try the new dresses on befor eyou decide to go with one of them. For example, I really like the first new one, but I know my bustier BM's wouldn't be able to wear it. Of all of them, I think the one you originally picked out will fit everyone best and looke best b/c it is a two piece and has a more "classic" style... but if all your BM's are skinny-minis, then you could probably get away with any of them!

This is much like me (except I'm shorter, and my waist has gotten less small in the last year and a half ) and I would never be able to wear that first dress of the new set. Your original dress I think may still be best for those body types. We women with hips have a lot of trouble...

I love the first one of the new ones you picked out, and I also love the original one. I have to say that the big bow on the back of the second new one is ugly (sorry!).
Definitely get them to try them on before you decide. Like Bree's, my girls are going to be wearing whatever dress they want as long as it's black.

i have to agree with the bow.
it looks like a geisha obi (i absolutely abhor the one that DB has on their wedding dresses).
I LOVE the first one. It's simple, elegant and looks like it would flatter a lot of body styles (minus any with a 'kangaroo pouch' like me
