Default dark wedding makeup?

im used to doing my eyes dark but i know wedding makeup is done with light eyeshadows, and im scared i wont feel like myself. i had some bridal makeup done on me and hated it. im used to black/green/blue.
is there anyway i can have dark eyes for my wedding?
someone told me it will look too harsh on the photos but i think it would look great. even black eyeliner and mascara with no eyeshadow would work for me.
im thinking my dress will be beige and ill have red flowers

Hi Dizzy!
You can still use darker eye makeup for your wedding by following these key pieces of advice

1) make sure it's not overly shimmery
2) make sure whoever does it does a clean job with nice, symmetrical and clean edges and properly cleans the shadow fallout.
3) if you do decide to go dramatic on the eyes, make sure your blush and lipstick and light and neutral. It's a fine line between "dramatic" and "overkill" especially for a wedding setting.

If you do decide to not use dark shadows, you could use a neutral, skin colored base, a deeper brown color in your crease, beautiful black eyeliner (it could be smoked out, or a "cat eye" with liquid liner, etc.) full false lashes and you could then wear a stronger lipcolor (like red if it matches with the theme of your wedding)

Remember, brides want to look like themselves, only better on their wedding day. If you (and your guests) are used to seeing you in slightly more dramatic makeup, then wear it that way, but make sure it's done flawlessly. Good luck!

You definitely want to look like yourself for your wedding, but dark colours are harder to pull off. As BridalMUA said, make sure they do it cleanly and precisely, as smudgy dark makeup will look horrible in photos. If you decide to do darker on your lips, make sure that you either a) don't use dark red lipstick or b) don't have black and white photos. Dark red lipstick will turn black in black and white photos, which I don't think is the look you're going for.
