Default my updates...
...or should I say "our" updates!!! (sorry, this is looooonnnggg, but includes pics! )

I can't believe we've already been married over 2 months. Time really flies when you're having fun!

A couple days after our Arizona wedding, we celebrated by taking a hot air balloon ride. It was so much fun - I highly recommend it for a special occasion. They feed you a champagne breakfast after your flight, which is lovely except with you're still a little hung-over from your wedding reception two days ago!







After returning to Prague, we finalized plans for our Czech reception - an informal celebration of our marriage. So many of our friends here have children and tight budgets, so we planned to have a party to include them upon our return. We went to a little village and grilled a pig, drank lots of yummy Czech beer and even went on a little treasure hunt for our presents.

and to think...I used to be a vegetarian! Yikes!


skiing in full gear...gotta work for those presents!


to create peace and understanding in our relationship...a Czech/English dictionary!!!!


My mom and sister came out for the party, so we spent several weeks showing them around town and hanging out.

Since then, we've been busy getting all our paperwork complete, so our marriage is legal and recorded in both countries! Not exactly an easy task, but it's coming along.

Currently, we're planning our Egyptian honeymoon, which we'll take in October!

Life is grand.

Ooh, your travels sound wonderful! The hot air balloon ride looked great! I love Arizona and I bet it was a gorgeous view! Congratulations to both of you!

Thank you so much for the offer! I'm sure I'll have some questions for you as we get closer to the vacation! How long did you live in Egypt? Do you get to go back very often? I'm really excited about seeing it.
