Default DIY Project: Cupcake Stand
Cupcake Stand

Submitted by: imstilldreaming



Materials:
  • Thin yellow ribbon
  • Fabric glue
  • lace
  • vase for flower centerpiece on top
  • silk flowers for centerpiece on top
  • flower petals
  • cupcakes
  • cupcake stand

Instructions:
  • I bought the cupcake stand from cupcaketree.com
  • Glue the yellow ribbon around the edges of each level of the stand
  • Turn the stand upside down and fold the edges of the lace under, staple on the bottom of the stand all the way around
  • Create a flower centerpiece for the top level
  • Add cupcakes and arrange flower petals

imstilldreaming, I am ordering the exact same cupcake stand for our wedding, did you like the stand? Was it sturdy? Sorry if hi-jacking...i'm just curious.

It was as sturdy as cardboard can get really, we super glued the pieces together to make it sturdier. I thought it was okay especially considering I didn't want to attempt making it myself.
