DIY Project: Lighted Ceiling Decor

Lighted Ceiling Decor

Materials Used:

• White Icicle Lights - 6 strands or strands connected together in desired length
• 100 Yards of white/ivory tulle or desired amount for ceiling size
• 6 extension cords
• 12 twist ties
• Snowflake ornaments (optional)

Instructions:

Measure the length of your ceiling from the center to the edge of the wall. Add 6 feet to the length for hang.

Cut tulle into 6 equal lengths. Lay flat in a hallway.

Take icicle lights and lay inside each row of tulle. Fold tulle over the lights in half. Attach the ends of each piece of tulle together with a twist tie. Be sure to attach the icicle lights as well.

To hang: Find the center of the ceiling and attach to the panels with twist ties. Attach the ends to the sides of the ceiling with ties and attach extension cords. Do this for each panel, and be sure to make sure the hang is the same on panel.

Optional: Attach snowflakes or other ornaments in the center for more light effect. Use twist ties to attach to the tulle or to the ceiling for desired effect.

Plug in lights and enjoy!
