Good first dance song suggestion :)
I just found this song called 'This Kind of Love' by Sister Hazel (I freaking LOVE Sister Hazel) and it makes me tear up every time I hear it. I thought I would post it as a suggestion for a first dance song. You can go to my myspace page ( http://www.myspace.com/imstilldreaming23) and it plays on my page.
I'm still all teary from it.

Butterfly Kisses
I LOVE this song and when my friend danced this with her dad, everyone in the hall had tears in their eyes! I forget who sings it, but you can google it...
Also, Phil Vassar's song called "Last day of my life", or something like that. That's a cute song.
And I think Lonestar sings it, or maybe its' Rascal flatts, oh man...I can't think of it right now. Shoot....! Ok, I can't remember what it's called. I'm sorry. But Google Lonestar and wedding songs and it should pop up.

Butterfly kisses was written and originally recorded, in 1997, by Bob Carlisle, a gospel singer, however 2 other country artists recorded it the same year. The Raybon Brothers, and Jeff Carson. Personally, I like the Jeff Carson version the best.

Just because it's an old post doesn't mean others can't talk about songs does it? Is this board dead cause there's a lot of posts on here that haven't had any action in months!!
Anyway....we're thinking about our first song being "The Way" by Clay Aiken. Now, I am not a Clay Aiken fan but this song is beautiful and whenever I listen to it and think about us dancing to it makes me cry!!

Nope the board certainly is not dead. This specific section isn't used as much, but if you click new posts at the top you'll see everything that's been posted since you were last here.
Secondly, yes this topic is too old to post in and should have been locked (but accidentally was missed.) The first post is nearly two years old. Feel free to start a new thread though and we'll be happy to discuss songs with you! Generally if the thread is three months old or longer, please don't post in it with the exception of on-going ones such as in Bridal Journals, and polls posted by the owners Steve and Cheryl.
