Wedding Credit
Hey gals,
I thought I read "somewhere" once-upon-a-time about a credit card for weddings... that had like 0% APR until your wedding date or soemthing like that...
Has anyone else heard of this or know where I can find one? I'm starting to buy things, and it would be nice to be able to easily differentiate between "wedding" expenses and "house/personal" expenses and not have them all on the same credit card.. since FH isn't paying for any wedding stuff.

I think American Express has one....but I thought it was a certain percentage back on wedding related expenses. We recently opened a Chase Visa Rewards Card...it was 0% for 18 months and 8.99% APR after that...no fees.

I've never heard of it. What's the difference between that and a regular credit card that offers 0% APR?
I would just get a regular card that offers a 0% APR and use that only for wedding related expenses. You can usually get the 0% for a year, sometimes 14 months if your credit is excellent and the wedding deadline may fall sooner than a regular card.
Getting $$ back for wedding related expenses would be a great deal. I would look into that.

I found the AMEx card - it's in conjunction with The Knot, and you earn "reward points" for your purchases. Each $1 you spend earns 1 point, but it takes 100 points to earn $1 back... so if I charge ALL of my wedding expenses to the card, I would get about $150
... but you can only redeem your points at The Knot Store, and you get a 10% discount there. But none of that would be much use after the wedding...
I think I am just gonna look into getting a 0% interest rate card...
