Well it is quickly approaching. I am hoping someone will know the answers to some of these.
Based on 180 -200 guests how many pounds of cheese will I need?
I just bought 8 lbs of cheese
quarts of various pickles
a variety of crackers
salsa and taco chips
I will have 35 dozen different types of sqaures
celery and carrots
20 lbs of brisquet
50 lbs of ham and turkey
a variety of 40 dozen buns
1 gallon of 4 bean salad
I plan to buy a few quarts of potatoe salad
and my Mom is making a fruit salad and pasta salad.
Do youthink I should add anything?
The wedding is at 7:00 PM and then the reception immidiatly following at our civic centre. The buffet will be set out at about 8:30-9:00. It is getting down to crunch time.

That's not a question you hear everyday, lol.

My answer would be it depends on how you're slicing it up or cutting it up. Are you making sandwiches or will it be like a cheese platter/tray?

People tend to really love cheese, so if you're cutting it up for crackers or bread, you may need a bit more than 8lbs - especially if you have any vegans in the group.

If you are cutting them 2 X 2 I go with 5 to 8 slices per person any thing bigger I would go with 3 to 5 a person.

Just like Heather ask what are they going on? Crackers? Bread?

Crackers I would do 5 to 8 bread I would do 3 per person at the most.

You meant if you have vegetarians you'd need more right? I don't think vegans eat cheese...
