Talking 7 weeks to go. The "home stretch".

7 weeks to go. Well maybe that wasn't the right one. My emotions are so mixed right now.
I am relaxed and completely wound up at the same time.
I have the lists, TONS of lists. Lists FOR lists.

I completely plan to be on the business end of at least 1 thing every day until the big day. That way. I can make sure that it is all done just right. Without being overwhelmed.

For example:
Monday - Call the church to double check the reservation and deliver the deposit (Vendor Envelope).
Tuesday - Call the reception venue/caterer to find out why she hasn't sent me any e-mails. Finalize the menu so that I can print the menu cards.
Wednesday - Double check all the addresses. Get any that I don't have.
Thursday - Order the candy for the favors. Go downtown "window" shopping and pick something up for each "mom" for Sunday.
Friday - Take the kiddos to Cheyenne for the weekend and go to Hobby Lobby and Pier 1. Pick up the invitation supplies and new printer and ink at Office Depot.
Saturday - Rent a lap top for a week from Rental place. Get a motel room so that I don't have kitty or puppy hair, ect. around when I am printing. Print all the invitations, vellum over lays, envelopes, RSVP's, envelopes, Map/direction cards, place cards, menu cards, seating chart, marriage certificate, thank you cards, and envelopes.
Sunday - Mail the invitations. (no backing out now. LOL) Go to Cheyenne and pick up boys. Visit mom's for mother's day and do any shopping at Target.

One week at a time.

That doesn't count the stuff I am doing to my house.
Yard is getting COMPLETELY tore out and re-done. It snowed again today - so that will put another delay on things outside.
Inside, I am working on one room at a time. Next week is our "love nest".
I want FH to finish the drywall and the mud and tape. Then I can sand and paint everything. He will then come in and put down the new flooring and the trim. (We wanted new windows - those will have to wait until just before fall)
Once he has put the finishing touches on it. I will go back in and clean it again. Repaint a dresser and reassign some of our furniture from other rooms into that room. I have a bed frame on order - might just to a headboard too, if I find the right one. ALL new bedding and curtians. Get storage containers for under the bed. Put up the doors on the expanded closet area, and add my little touches.

That takes care of May 7-13th

I think it's great to have lists.

Mine is stuck on the fridge so FH and I see it everyday.

It's a great reminder.

It snowed? After all you wrote, that's what I'm fixated on, lol.

You have everything together.

Heather, oh boy did it snow. Every road in and out of town was closed.
It was so very nice last week, when I was working on somebody elses yard. Go figure. I wish I had better light in our yard, I would have taken a picture for you.
It is Wyoming..... It has snowed here EVERY month of the year. Summer too.
We have 4 seasons - #1. S*^# I missed the trees turning. (usually lasts a couple days to a week) #2 Almost winter. #3. Winter. #4. Still winter.
7 seasons if you count - #5. Construction. #6. Tourist/Frontier Days &
#7. Damn it's hot today. Sure wish it would snow.

FH says he only considers it 2 seasons. #1. Winter & #2. July (the month that is the hottest and all the rodeos go on around the state - busiest dang month in our town)
I guess men don't look at the total detail.
