Happy anniversary you two!

It was a real blessing having you both around last year to share exactly where we were with the wedding planning & stress! Thank you!
My plans for the anniversary are less than overwhelming.
I've taken a few days off work to try & get some rest and maybe get the house in order. (my Crohn's leaves me fatigued if I push myself too hard, it's starting to catch me up).
Anyway, tomorrow is our actual anniversary, but we're not doing anything. It's an old firm game

[
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Firm] Which means Mo will be out from early morning drinking with his friends. I don't want to celebrate our anniversary when he's drunk, so I made the decision to shift it to Monday!
Put it this way, had 5th May been an old firm game last year we would not have had our wedding then, so I don't mind shuffling our anniversary either!
So Monday Mo has booked the day off work too. We're going to go into Glasgow during the day, buy some tickets for gigs & have lunch. Then Monday night we're going into Hamilton to my favourite Italian restaurant. When we get home we'll snuggle up & watch our wedding DVD slide show
I never even gave any thought to the cake.... it's still in my MIL's deep freeze!
It seems astounding that it has been a year already. We've had some tough times, but I think we've made a lot of progress too! Getting used to living together has been a challenge, given that I'd lived on my own for 11 years! But we're getting there.
