Smile Lesley and Kenny

OK I was going to wait till after Christmas! Any ways it's 2 AM Christmas morning and I can't sleep. I'm excited and have to tell you all. I'll write how we hooked up and every thing in a few days or so. I just want to share how he gave me my ring.

It was Christmas Eve at 2 PM (12 hours ago) when I pulled in his drive way. His car wasn't there so I called his cell. His voice message answered on the first ring. Grrrr I'm thinking to my self. Well his message says pretty girl go to the place we had are first date. Well I went to the bar nothing there so I thought and I figured out are real first date was another bar. So I drive back and go to Kelsey's. I walk in and there is a box with my name on it. I unwrap it thinking it's me ring and he is going to come around the corner but it's not. It is a ring box but with another note. It says please go to the place we had are first kiss and enjoy the drive. It's a 30 min drive up a hill. I'm telling my self he better be up here on his knee. lol On the way up I call his cell phone and his message say "I love you pretty girl It's not much longer." I get to the top of the mountain and there is a really big box . I unwrap it and there is a 3 foot teddy bear holden a ring box. I'm looking around no other cars are here in this park. Open the box and another note. It's Say's-

Honey I'm only a 5 min drive from where u started but it will take u a few more stops to get to me. I know we have started to plan out life together but it's time for me to give u something u want. U must work for it! Does $1400 ring a bell? There is a $20 in the box also.

This got me I had no ideal what he was talking about. So I again call his cell! A new message! "ding bat where did we win $1400 at." I should of known it cause I his 3 bells and 2 diamonds and it gave me $1400. It's like he new I wouldn't remember that. It's been over a year and half how did he remember this. So I go to the gambling place we won this at. The lady tell me I have to cash out something even if it's $1. OK I play and I ended up getting it up to $100 with in min. I'm just so excited I can't play any more I had to go on. I cashed out and when the lady handed me the money she handed me a box.

The message in the box was "were did I first tell u I love you." I really had to think on this one. I wasn't about to call him again. So it took me a few min but I ended up driven to a place where I had to tell him bye. He was leaving for a run across country and wouldn't be home for 10 days. On the curb was a tulip with a note on it.

"now where did we spend are first min together. I love you and can't wait to see u" So I go back to the first bar I was at. No one was there when I was there 2 hours ago and there wasn't a note so whats going on. I pull in and the front door is open. I didn't see no cars but I went ahead and walked in. When I turned around the corner there was candles leading me to the center of the dance floor. I stood there and looked around. Wounder what is going to happen now. I was almost already in tears. Our song starts to play. (Wonderful Tonight) He walks out from behind the bar. I just start crying! He comes up and Say's Is this your fav song? Do u want to dance? I couldn't say nothing I put my arms around him and he kisses me. We dance this is a long song. He holds me tight. After the song ends he gets down on one knee and he say something like this. I can't remember all the words.

Lesley _____ you are the love of my life. I can't Imagen another day with out you by my side. I want to grow old with you cry with you and laugh with you. Will you please be my wife!!!

I was in heaven a man I thought with out a single romantic bone in his body just put me on cloud 9. Of course I said yes and then the song I want to grow old with u came on and we danced. Ladies I just had the best day of my life. It will be hard for him to ever beat this. After this we ended up going back to the gambling place and ended up wining $350. What A Christmas this has turned out to be!!!

I'm speechless. Wow! I am so excited for you. Isn't it nice when you find out that your man DOES have at least one romantic bone in his body?

Do you know that your ring is almost the EXACT design of the engagement ring that I lost? The ONLY difference is that my ring was platinum and the stone was round-cut (not princess cut like yours). Other than that, it could be the SAME RING!

Does it have a wedding band to go with it? The wedding band I had came with the e-ring. It was a platinum band with six little diamond "chips" set into the band.

Did he buy it at Zales perhaps?

What a wonderful proposal story! I wonder how long he'd been p[lanning all of that?! It must have taken him a great deal of time to get everything set up, shows just how much he cares! He's gonna have to work really hard now to live up to this standard! Congratulations honey!

Just getting all the clues in place must've taken forever! And that one in the car park on the hill, what if someone had stolen it?! He must've been close by to put it out at the right time (or maybe his DIL was watching )

I don't think I could have pulled that off! The planning would've turned me mad! (Just you wait and see; I'll be crazy by time I've sorted out the wedding!)

He finally told me his son and DIL help out. Once he knew I was at a place the next clue would go down. It was great I never dreamed he would something like that...
