Silk Flowers Online - for Pomanders
Hi ladies,
I'm in the process of making pomanders for a fellow bride. I made my own out of roses and I love how they turned out. I offered to make them for another bride, but she wants green hydrangeas which are SO hard to find in my area. I've been looking online and in stores for silk, green hydrangeas, but I'm coming up short. I don't want them already made into arrangements for obvious reasons. Does anyone have any ideas as to where to get them? I found a few at Michael's, but they didn't have enough and I haven't seen them anywhere else. Thanks so much!

I just found this one...don't know if the price is good or not...$8.00 a stem.

Thanks so much for looking for me. I've seen that site as well. It is high (I paid $5 per stem at Michael's), but it may be something I have to deal with. We'll see what I can come up with, but thanks again.

Anyone know how to find instructions to make those? I'd be eternally grateful

They aren't hard -
Get a styrofoam ball, cut the stems off of the flowers, stick them in (I pull them back out and fill the hole with hot glue so the flowers are in for good). Then, attach a ribbon with some pins and voila.

Oh, okay! Thanks! I wasn't sure how the ribbon was attached.

try calling to other micheals store in your area or maybe talk with the manager to see if they can ship them into that store. and now since they are out the store should automatically reorder!
