I had to do a defer on mine too. Now, I have them set up on an automatic withdrawl of $125 a month from my checking. That way, I don't have to worry about it. $ goes in and comes out before I even have it in my hot little hand.
I am doing it this way though, so I can get them caught up a bit more. Then, when I go back to school next fall, I get the option of stopping the payments until I am finished with my Masters. Which is a good thing. There are way more expenses to this last run of schooling than I anticipated.
Have no shame in doing what you can to make ends meet. That is why those options are set up. Because they realize that #^*% happens. They know that there are thick and their are thin times in peoples lives. It would be nice if other financial instutions would wake up to the reality of life. But, that will never happen.
You will have a wonderful job that you love and cant quit talking about. We will be here waiting to hear about it.
