I'm not really sure that can even be possible? Maybe just pack it in a wardrobe bag and have it steamed/pressed in Hawaii before the wedding?

That's probably going to be the easiest.

I think its going to be impossible to get it to there with out it getting wrinkled. Have you thought about shipping it over and have it arrive b-4 you get there to the hotel? Or I would just start researching bridal shops over there and find one that can steam it when you get there.

A friend of mine was married in Las Vegas and transported her dress and didn't have to have it steamed but I can't remember for the life of me how. I'll have to check and get back with you.

I had to take mine all the way to New Zealand from London - I got my sister to take it over a week before I went, which was lucky because the airline lost our luggage for a whole four days (thats a whole other story, talk about heartattack material!) I packed it in a wardrobe cover bag thingy and packed it in my sisters suitcase!

Luckily my dress was really heavy so my Mum just hung it up and any wrinkles fell out of it!

BTW they wont let you carry it on - what with all the terrorist threats etc...

I carried mine on the plane in October so it will be in PA already. On my first flight, the flight attendants hung it on the first class coat rack. There wasn't one on the second flight (puddle jumper) so it went in an overhead bin, bent in half. Don't know about the wrinkles though, I haven't seen it since October!
