I don't have a recipe, but this post reminded me of that bottled stuff back in the day called Tahitian Punch.
Are you going alcoholic punch or alcohol-free?

I like cranberry juice and ginger ale -- ususally I do slices of oranges floating in it w/ scoops of orange sherbet. Very holiday-ish. Can be kind of tart, you may want to add granulated sugar.

I was going to suggest the same idea as Complicated Woman. Cranberry juice comes in different flavors, such as cran-orange. cran-apple, or cran-raspberry. Since you don't want pulp, are you using a punch fountain? If not, you might add whole raspberries to cran-raspberry or slices of oranges to cran-orange. The cranberry juice isn't too sweet so it goes nicely with cake.

And take a ring mold and freeze cranberries and slices of lemon or orange in gingerale; then unmold it and float it in the punch bowl.

Yep, we're using a punch fountain so it can't have any pulp in it. I like the sound of cranberry juice with ginger ale so I might give that a try. With less than 5 weeks till the big day I'm trying to knock off the little things on the to-do list.
