Midnight blue and white? - The PASH Wedding Forums and Message Boards

I couldn't decide on colors, so I asked my fiance and he said dark blue and white, like he'd been thinking about it!

I was thinking a royal blue, but my moh got a midnight blue dress (almost black). I would like to get a few other lighter colors mixed into it (for decorations and flowers) but I'm having a hard time deciding what colors since I'm bad with designing and all that stuff.

I pretty much figured any pastel color would go with it, but I'm not sure! Any suggestions or ideas?

lighter shades of blue and silver look great... i'm biased thought, we used a dark blue, light blue and silver with an irredecent white for our wedding

Shades of lavender and purple look really pretty with blue and white. I've been running the idea through my head too (with so much time to go before my wedding I change my mind about colors every three weeks or so, lol).

haha, that sounds just like me! Our wedding is August of this year so it is coming up soon, but I keep changing my mind about almost everything!

I like all those ideas... I just looked at them online and silver goes great with blue, so does purple and other shades of blue. hmmm, choosing colors is harder than I expected.

I think I'm just disappointed that I'm trying to base it on a really dark blue that I wish I made more clear that I didn't want. It's going to be an outdoor semi-formal wedding also. But I know when the day comes, it will look beautiful and I (or anyone else) will not think that it looks out of place (at least I hope so!)

I'm feelin' ya!!! I thought I would agonize over my dress but THE dress was the fourth one I tried on! At least I know I want some shade of blue somewhere in my wedding. I actually found a tool the other day that I'm in LOVE with, but be warned... it doesn't make choosing a whole lot easier. There are too many options! lol I'll post it in a few minutes.
