I've always thought it'd be fun to have a leap day wedding and it turns out I will actually get one! My boyfriend and I have been dating since June 16th, 2006. We are apart right now due to a year long internship with a photographer so I had to move  . But when the internship is over I will move back home and we will get married. I'm excited because he'll be flying out to propose to me while I'm out here in Cali!!!

I moved out to Cali a few months ago. When we first started dating we'd spend more time with his family because my family was never home. My family knew him, just not realy well. So as it came closer to when I had to leave, my family finally listened to me by freeing up time to hang out with his because I really wanted my parents to get to know him. But Brett, my boyfriend, still didn't feel comfortable enough with my dad to talk to him about marring me. (Brett is more traditional where he believes he needs to ask my dad for permission rather that purposing and then us telling my parents about it. Part of it is also because I'll be the first one of my siblings to get married). And he didn't have money for a ring. Every since I moved out here, Brett agreed to give my little brother guitar lessons each week so that he would spend more time at my parents house and get a chance to have some alone time with just them after he gives the lessons to my brother so he can get a better feel for them and they'll get to know him better. He's planning a few trips to visit me in the next 4 months...so it is coming up during one of these visits

Yes, well, he is a sweetheart. He's terrible at surprises though, lol, but he's getting better. Brecca (my sn on here) is his name and my name together. I'm Becca and he's Brett...so we put them together
