DIY Project: Personalized Wine Bottle Labels
Personalized Wine Bottle Labels
We used wine bottles on our reception tables as favors, we also gave these to individuals who helped us throughout the wedding planning and on the wedding day. This particular bottle was sparkling apple cider for the individuals that preferred. We also used place card frames, but put quotes about love and marriage inside.
Materials
•Printable Wine Labels
•Bottles of Wine or Sparkling Cider
•Template ( www.undergrounddigital.com/winemaking/weddinglabels)
Instructions
We printed these labels on a laser printer. We had no template to go by, so hours and hours were spent making our own template. We soaked the old wine label (front only) off of the bottle by laying paper towels soaked in vinegar on top of the label. We left the back label on so that people would know what kind of wine it was.

I just want to add (if I may)...that we did download the template for word...and the pictures...but they didn't all fit like they were supposed to and it took forever to edit the template to get it right...but it was worth the compliments we received!!
And...just to add....we did a case to keep ourselves and open ourselves at the milestones in our marriage...hopefully we'll still be alive to enjoy it on our 60th wedding anniversary!!!

Oy....we didn't do 200 bottles!! We did 2 per table at the reception (we had 20 tables), then another 20 to give as gifts and 12 for ourselves....
Also, I found a wine brokerage in California that sells wines that local vineyards need to get rid of (they don't make that particular kind anymore and have inventory left over they have to get rid of)....some of it I got $20 bottles of wine for $1.57!!!! but here and there they would only have 3 bottles of this 6 bottles of that....and I had to have it shipped to a friends house in Nebraska because you can't ship wine to Kansas .

I can not find anywhere that would do sparkling apple cider! What was the name of the place that did it?

Wow, that's awesome!!!
I wonder if I could do this, except with champagne bottles. We were planning on having champagne at the reception anyway...

Very nice, indeed!
I was able to download a template from the company that makes the blank labels, but it wasn't as nice as yours.
