Default I know your out there!

Its only my first day but I know I'm not the only August bride. We picked a gorgeous park with lots of flowers and greenery, also has a fountian. We will be getting married in the evening so hopefully it won't be so hot. August can be grueling around here but I think we will do just fine

Me! Me! Me! I'm getting married next August. The 12th to be exact. We picked that month because we are hoping the weather will be great out here. We both love summer and warm weather. We aren't getting married outside so we aren't too worried about the heat.

Other than us, I don't know of any other brides getting married next August. There are a couple people here who have August anniversaries, but none that I know of planning August weddings.

cl71282 is getting married August 26, 2006

Everyone else is just celebrating an anniversary.

Almost_Mrs.Levitt, you should go to the Bridal Journal forum and add your wedding to the Wedding/Anniversary Date List that's there.

Yay for August...192 days for me...EEEK--it's coming soon!!!

Happy news, I had a cake tasting with this amazing bakery today (the BonBonerie)
I went in thinking that it would be out of my price range, and it was ($1280 and I can get very similar just not quite so fancy for $520). But--I came home with a big box of cake samples The diet is out the window until the cake is gone! If I hadn't at least gone to the tasting, I would always wonder "could we have afforded that amazing cake?" now I know it's out of the question and I can be happy with our other choice.

Thats awsome, I have yet to do the cake thing. Thats about the last thing on my list. I think I have pretty much everything else in line. Great to see another August bride!
