We've chosen our honeymoon destination!
DISNEYWORLD!!!
We decided on this because, we both wanted more than just a resort with a beautiful beach!
We wanted, water parks, good shopping, a beach, and always something different to do!
Soooooo, we though what better a place to spend it than DisneyWorld, Nor Dave or I have ever been! So we're both pretty excited!
We will get all of that booked when Dave is done school (begining of April)
Has anyone ever been? Do you have an suggestions as to where to stay or any advice?
We would want something "all inclusive" hotel, air fare, possibly meal tickets, park passes, waterpark passes, maybe some shows???
I know Dave's Step brother did something similar, They had an awesome time and I think stayed for 7days!
Thanks for any advice in advance!

I LOVE Disney World! I have been there 15 times. My favorite time is when we stayed in Kissimmi (sp) FL. It was nice to be off site. We had a huge condo (villa) that we stayed in and we had our rental car and we traveled to Busch Gardens and Gatorland Zoo and to Sea World and to Universal Studios. Then you are not locked into Disney only. We would spend about 4 Days doing disney. One at each park and then the other days going to other places.

yay how exciting!!!! I went to Disney World a long time ago now, it was 1993 and I went with my family so I dont have any tips! I do know that you guys will have a blast though!
I would do what Leslee suggests and stay off-site and hire a car, cause then you can have a look around Florida too!!

I live in Orlando, but have very little advice since I try my hardest to stay away from all of the tourist-y stuff. I don't like Disney but that's for political reasons so you can ignore it.
I have heard that the Disney Wilderness Lodge is really beautiful.

I love Disney World!! I've been twice and there is so much to do. I would definitely get one of those passes that has entrance to all of the parks (Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Islands of Adventure...) I know there are more but I can't think of them right now. Islands of Adventure (I think) is one of the newest ones and it has the most roller coasters if you like that kind of stuff. Both of the times I went I was with a high school or college group so I wasn't involved in picking a hotel or anything like that so I can't help you there but you're gonna have a blast!

I think thats what we are looking for, I don't think we need a super "fancy" hotel or anything, Of course it should be nice, but this way like you said we can get a rental care and then go to all those places!
I have been to disneyland in Cali! I loved it, I cannot wait to see disneyworld and go to sea world and universal studios!!!
Thanks for the good feedback! I think we will have an awesome time! We're just two kids in love!!!

Sounds like fun. I've been there three times. My best stay was at the Floridian. Got a whole package deal, including airfare through a travel agent.

If you are going to Sea World....consider going to Discovery Cove. It's so awesome. The ticket includes a 7 day pass to either Sea Wrold or Busch Gardens and all you can eat food. It's like being on a tropical island without leaving Orlando.
As for hotels, probably anything Disney or on the Universal Studios property will be nice. Some of the stuff on I-drive is pretty ghetto. The Gaylord Palms is really nice but I don't know what you're looking to spend. If you can, the Cirque Du Soleil show in Downtown Disney is awesome!

we go once or twice a year (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Disney, and Sea World). I'll try to find the info for the place we normally stay, but we do normally stay "off" property. If you're staying for several days, and/or intend to visit multiple parks over the course of your trip, you want to stay "on" property, so you can take full advantage of the transportation system that goes between parks (series of monorails and buses -- very effective, lets you park the car for the day, save on parking at each park, and it's all free).
I will make a WONDERFUL restaurant recommendation (or two).... Shula's Steakhouse (I believe it's in the Swan hotel) is fabulous. Very high quality steaks, and amazing service. Also, Texas de Brazil (it's on International Drive, not far off the Sand Lake exit). Make reservations, and go hungry. It's simply phenomenal (and the service is bar none).

I went for a week last year with my whole family. I think my parents went through the Disney website and purchased a package deal through them.
