Really dumb question on flowers
Ok so this is going to seem really dumb to a lot of you i'm sure, but I have a qusetion.
ALL of my flowers in my wedding (not talking reception yet) are calla lilies. From my bouquet to the BM's bouquet to the bouts and corsages...pretty much all the flowers are going to be callas
However, I still LOVE roses too. Would it be stupid to have the main focus in flowers on callas at the ceremony, and still have the GM wear the calla bouts...and have centerpieces with like roses, or other little flowers? I'm not sure what people think about it, and no other place to ask but here....
So what do you all think? Would it be really stupid to focus on callas for ONLY the ceremony or should I really incorporate them in both the ceremony and reception?

I don't think there is a right or wrong way to do flowers. I'm going to have daffodils in my bouquet, roses for the MOH, and rose petals in the aisle on and the tables. It's going to be beautiful no matter what combo you choose!

Well I do think you should have a couple callas at the reception, but (and I bet you can guess what I'm about to say ) It's your wedding! I'm sure anything that you think looks pretty will be wonderful

Heck no! Not stupid at all! My bouquet will be calla lilies, with roses and lilacs. BMs will be carrying single roses (BMs white, MoH red). At the reception, I'm just having freeze dried rose petals scattered on the tables.
It's your wedding, do it any way you want! I think the idea is cute! That way, there's more variety, since the wedding is the wedding, but the reception's the celebration of the wedding. Go for it!

I don't think there is any problem at all with having callas for the ceremony and roses for the reception. Especially if you tie the colors together. If you wanted to you could do callas and roses in the centerpieces, but I really don't think you need to.

Sorry to hijack but where do you get freeze dried rose petals? Do they look like if you had dried out a bouquet? (kind of wrinkly and aged looking)?
