I am getting married in a Methodist Church. My uncle is a Baptist minister and will perform the ceremony. I was wondering if anyone knew any rules of how this will work. The pastor at the Methodist church says a Methodist preacher must be present and say a blessing before the ceremony begins, however, another Methodist preacher I have talked to said he had never heard of such a thing and neither has my uncle. Does anyone here know? Thanks!!

I am a non-denominational pastor and our congregation rents space from a Methodist Church. I have performed many weddings at the Methodist Church and have not been required to have a Methodist pastor present, or do the blessing.
The pastor, or the church board of the particular Methodist Church that you are getting married in would have the final word on what is required for a service in thier church building. If you spoke with the Senior (or Head) pastor at the particular Methodist Church in which you are getting married it may be that this is what they require.

Congregations can set their own requirements as MOB mentioned. This is probably what you are encountering. If the Methodist pastor must say a blessing, then you might ask him to open the ceremony with a prayer of blessing then have your uncle take over.
