DIY Project: Personalized Sticks of Bubble Gum

Personalized Sticks of Bubble Gum

Materials:
*Computer
*Printer
*Software that allows for label making
*Clip-art or photo of your choice
*Sticks of gum
*Glue stick
*Ruler
*Scissors or straight edge paper cutter

Instructions (super easy):
*Using any computer program that allows label making (I used PrintMaster Silver 12) select the label size of Avery 7164 Address labels.
*Select a clip-art file from the internet or your software and place on the left side of the "label"
*On the right side type in

"Sticking together from this day forward
Name and Name
Month Day, 2007"

*Be sure to leave approximately a 3/4-1 inch margin at the top and bottom of your label to allow for folding around the gum.
*Print the labels (with the label size specified, you should get 12 labels)
*Cut out each label to about a 2.75 X 2.75 inch square.
*Using any kind of gum wrapped in a foil wrapper, fold the label around the stick of gum and glue with a glue stick.

This takes forever, but it's a lot cheaper than buying the ones that are sold!!! The people at my reception LOVED the after dinner breath freshener!
