Detailed instructions on how the project was made:
Our invites are made into 5X5 squares. The 12X12 cardstock is used for the backing and we cut those down to 8X8 squares. We cut the pattern paper down to 5X5 squares (each 8 1/2X11) only makes one. After each of these pieces are cut, place the pattern paper over the cardstock in the diamond position (each 5X5 point should be just shy of reaching the center of each side of the 8X8 cardstock). Use the dots (or glue) to adhere the pattern paper to the cardstock. From each 5X5 point cut the cardstock away in the shape of a triangle.
The vellum will be cut down to 4 3/4in. to give edging of the pattern paper and to give layers. We printed directly onto the vellum and cut away 1/2 in. from each top, and 1 3/4 in. from each side. Then we used the vellum tape to adhere the vellum to the pattern paper. We love stars so we also used a stamp of stars to add detail to the back. Since the cardstock was textured, the ink wouldn't set. To make sure stay put ink we used glitter hair spray to add to the sparkles of the vellum and the rhinestones and to keep it in place. Finally we added rhinestones to the corners to give it just a touch of what is to come. We found the wording online.
The response cards were purchased from Wal-Mart (for cheap) and we added stars to the envelopes too. We chose our heart font at
