Personalized Pen Favors

Supplies:

•Pentel R.S.V.P Ballpoint Pens (I found places online that offer in bulk for a better price)
•Colored Paper (normal light weight for a printer)
•Computer (Word or something that you can make a table in)
•Scissors

I used Microsoft Word to create the personalized message.

•Expand margins under page set-up if your printer will allow; this will get more cells per page (this is what I used and got 7 cells across and 3 down on each page)

oTop- 0.12
oBottom- 0.2
oLeft- 0.5
oRight- 0.25

•Create a table

oColumns- 1 inch
oRows- 3.38 inches
oMake the alignment to the left with the vertical alignment the same
oUse a border around the cells to know where to cut

•Type your message (we put Annie & Dustin ~ May 27, 2006)

•Print the page on a decorative paper

oIt is important to use a color that will still be legible but distinct enough that it will show through the plastic barrel of the pen

•Cut on the lines

•Unscrew the bottom of the pen and pull out the bottom with the ink

•Roll the rectangle tightly so the words end up on the outside

•Holding the roll so it remains tight, slide the paper into the empty barrel, watching so the words won’t end up behind the printing on the pen itself

•Slide the ink back through the paper and screw it back on
