I'm stuck
I need some ideas if you please...I finally got the number of girls attending the b. party from the bride, and that number is 4. ( No biggie on that end, just cuts down a little on how expensive we can get.)
I am still looking at/planning a spa afternoon, but my question is what to do after that? I'm sure we'll have a nice dinner someplace, but that will still end kind of early. The bride isn't a bar person, and I am not sure if the rest would be happy going to a club or not. But I can not think of anything else to do in the late evening hours....suggestions please?

I was going to say the same thing... or one of those interactive theater productions, like Birdie's Bachelorette Party or Tony & Tina's Wedding (I wanted to go to The 80's Prom until I found out there wasn't a show on the day we had planned).

She would KILL me. She's not very....open about that kind of stuff.
I, however, would end up with an arsenal of toys.
I like the idea of an interactive thing, but choices are limited here in the sticks, lol. Bowling is an option too...
Keep 'em coming ladies!

A tractor pull or a bonfire?
I've never lived in the country. I spent one weekend in Veevee in August and I was ready definitely ready to go home. Anyways, the people there said they go fishing, have a bonfire, or hang out with the Amish for fun. I'd like to go to a bonfire. I've never been to one....we can't have those here. Everyone lives on top of each other or about 10-15 apart.

What about a slumber party since there arent very many girls... you could do the whole movie, popcorn thing... turn your entire living room into a fluffy mess of pillows and blankets. You could have wine and stuff like that.
Get all the wedding movies like "wedding planner" and such. you could get little tubs and everyone gives themselves their own pedicure (you could get a pedi to find out all the lotions, scrubs, and creams to practice!).

Hehehe, tractor pull...now that's a unique idea.
I like the sleepover idea too, so if we do that I'll boot DH someplace (probably his mom's).
Anytime you wanna come up for the country living, you come right on up. I've got two extra rooms, lol. Vevay is really pretty, I can understand why you'd like it there. It's a shame that the property his dad had down there is gone now...

How about a picnic if it's going to be in the spring/summer.

Vevay was out as soon as I found out there was no pizza delivery. AND, everything was AT LEAST 30 minutes away. By the time they were talking about going fishing on their first dates, I was looking for my car keys. I doubt I'll be going country!

Slumber parties are great fun at all ages. My daughter had a slumber party and movie night for her 73 year-old mother-in-law's bachelorette party and the ladies loved it. They said that they never get to celebrate that way anymore.

Ok, this might be a stupid question, so forgive me if it is...
I know that three of us for sure like to dance. The biggest downfall to the bars is the smoke (the bride and MOH are allergic to it). Now if I could find someplace that doesn't allow smoking, we could do that. But I don't think they've outlawed it anyplace close by...does anyone know of any up around Chcago? Guess I need to do some research...

I think everyone has given great ideas. I would personally like to have a passion party but it seems that it wouldn't go over very well. I would think bowling would be pretty cool too and then have a slumber party.

Well another hour, or two the whole city of Madison is completely smoke free in any public place. Bars, restaurants EVERYTHING. Come on up rent a hotel, bring your swimming suits and go party hardy!
