I'm have a ton of stuff done. And teh stuff I haven't finished I really need to work on. But I am off the week after Christmas so I may hold off until then. I mainly need to mail down a punch recipe and that's it.

I am a little excited but I am more anxious just because I'm tired of waiting.
I am ready for a week off of work!!! LOL
Well I am getting that the week after Christmas anyways (a little gift to the staff from the big guy). But it will be more fun to have FH off with me for a week!

Oh man, a month! That is so exciting...I'm sure it will feel like it flew and like it dragged because that's the way these things usually seem to go! But whoo hoo! You're getting married!!!!

What kind of punch recipe are you looking for Jennifer?

Time will fly. Pretty soon, you'll be at your rehearsal dinner wondering where did the last month go? Are you taking a honeymoon?

bebe - I need a clear punch for the room we are holding the reception in. A lot of recipes call for frozen items like sherbert but we don't have a freezer to store such items. I need an easy recipe that can be thrown in a punch fountain and will mix as it cycles.
whiddle - we are going on a honeymoon, however I don't know where to. That was FH job...find a honeymoon location, plan it, book it, arrange it all...and find a way to keep it all a secret from me until we get to the airport the day of!

I can't decide if this sounds gross or not, but I'm thinking something like white grape juice or apple juice mixed with 7-up or ginger ale. Gross or not, you decide!

I was told cherry 7-up and a lime concentrate. Kinda of like a cherry limeade. Can a frozen concentrate defrost and still be good?

It won't hurt the concentrate to defrost before you use it. But since many concentrates come in cardboard cylinders, if you expect it to defrost before you use it you may want to put it in a sealed container.

The container will hold up pretty well. We used to put OJ straight in the frig so it'd be easier to mix when we were reay. It never leaked.

I just said that, because I had one that I kept in my freezer door, and I gues it defrosted at some point, because it leaked everywhere. LOL It was a pain to clean up.

The next month is going to FLY by!!! With christmas and new years...and I'm getting married right after you! My to-do list has only gotten longer though since we had to change the reception location. I put my dress and veil and everything on yesterday and then just sat on a bar stool enjoying it. That's when everything started to sink in for me. The reality of it all is starting to hit me. AND I CAN'T WAIT!!

When I took my bridal portraits is when it seemed real. I guess b/c I was actually in the dress with the hair and make up all done!
FH brought me flowers, a sweet card, and the dvd of the movie we saw the night he proposed last night. I wasn't home so he left it all with my mom on the kitchen counter. He wanted to celebrate our 1 more month day! LOL How sweet that he did it anyways even after he realized I was going to dinner and a movie with my girlfriends.

these last weeks will go by so fast, you will wonder about everything, including if you have forgotten something big. You will, but no one but you will notice, so don't worry about it! I am excited for you!

You won't believe the dream I had last night! There was a huge snow storm so none of his family was able to come down from MO. The steps and sidewalks at the church were covered in ice so guests were falling. And someone had forgotten to get any punch! I guess it was a nightmare really!

I had a good one too this weekend, LOL!
I got to the church and my SIL (who is also my BM and hair and make up person) didn't show up. The stairs weren't right for the stage and I had to go through a maze of candle up this jacked up stair way.
I have had TOO many nightmares to remember them all...but luckily...they make me get more motivated to get everything done now! Like I had the punch dream before...so I started working on that.
I had a "didn't order flowers" dream...but now I have them in.

The time is going to FLY BY. My wedding took place in early February 2002, and it seemed like the time from Christmas to the wedding was only a matter of a few days.
