I ordered their sample bouquet, which costs $40. They give you (I think, don't remember exactly) 25 labeled stems. Each rose has a little tag so you know what kind it is. It was $40 well spent for peace of mind. When the flowers first arrived, I was a little worried..they looked a little wilted. I put them in water with a couple of drops of bleach, as recommended, and cut the bottoms of them and they perked right up. They are really beautiful, florist quality roses.
I am doing a kind of interesting bouquet for my tables that consists of a flat, wide vase that is curved at the sides (kind of hard to describe) with bear grass in the center and roses lined up single file. It's a very modern, unique and elegant arrangement, and anyone, ANYone could do it. Doesn't take any craftiness at all. My flowers, with the exception of my bridal bouquet which is being given as a gift by my aunt, will cost $400. I'll have 7 centerpieces, 7 bouts, 10 corsages, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 2 ceremony bouquets that will move to the buffet and several little accent bud vases from the leftovers. I am also cheating and using some of the natural flora from my mountain wedding location as filler and decor for our arch.
An important point made by the admin of 2g: Flowers are beautiful in and of themselves. The arrangement of them is secondary.
Keep it simple and you'll be fine.
