Honestly, I don't even know what an appropriate reaction would be. I have no idea what I would've done if I were one of the BM's. Maybe take the scissors away? Then I'd worry about getting stabbed in the process. Seriously - what does one do in this situation?

Oh. My. God.
That is just...wow. I think maybe some pre-wedding psychologist visits would have been of great value to this poor woman. I can't even imagine what was going through her mind! Seems like she was trying to "make it look better" but...seriously...didn't we all cut our barbie's hair at some point and decide haircuts are NOT something to do yourself?

I would have been afraid she'd turn the scissors on me! Yea, I think she was a little nervous about the wedding. All she had to do was wash her hair!

I laughed through the whole thing. Do you think it's real? It almost seems like really bad acting.

I figured out in college that just cutting my bangs is not something I should do myself. What was this bride thinking? Or was she?

I couldn't do that to my own hair on a NORMAL NON WEDDING DAY I mean I know it's stressful but goodness chopping off your hair with scissors????? I cannot believe someone did that. Fake or real...that's just insane!

That just makes me want to cry for the groom. It's awful that someone can have absolutely no regard for another's feelings. ERRRGGG.

Some people really do put so much pressure on themselves (or feel pressure being put on them by family) that they really can snap on the wedding day. It's the runaway bride thing. It isn't logical, and they aren't thinking. She never would have done that on any other day, I'm certain. And I do think it's real.
I think the bridesmaids pretty much reacted as could be expected. Hysterical at first, and completely at a loss. I think when the bride finally broke down the girl in with her was starting to be able to react better (was she saying "get champagne", or was that someone's name? Either way). Basically, support and calm once she could. If the wedding happened at all, I expect the bride was either rushed to the nearest hair dresser or one was called in for some emergency assistance. It probably depends on whether the stress that cracked her was something like living up to expectations from family for the wedding itself, or something like her own serious doubts about the union. The first one might be something she could eventually get past enough to go through with it, the other maybe (hopefully!) not.
And I feel very sorry for the groom in that second one. Too bad his wife didn't freak out, cut her hair off, and call off the wedding.

I'm pretty sure the hair one is fake. It doesn't seem even remotely real.

To the first one -- OMGosh. I'm sorry, I know getting married is stressful and Tom can attest to the fact that I had my panic moments, but if you snap like that over a wedding ceremony, are you actually ready to face the potential difficulties and stressors of being married and maintaining a household, the possibility of having kids, etc etc?
The second one -- that poor groom. That absolutely breaks my heart for him. I can't stop thinking of my husband and how his face lit up when he looked at me on our wedding day after we'd been greeting people seperately -- I can not even begin to fathom doing something like that to him! People can be so incredibly selfish!

Over the past few days I have received at least 15 emails with the above video. It’s some bride on her wedding day that completely freaks out after getting her hair done. She throws a huge tantrum and takes the scissors to her hair to “fix the problem.” When I first saw it, I was pretty skeptical. I’ve seen more believable meltdowns on “Fashion House.” According to Dlisted reader vZa the video is a complete phoney. The bride is aspiring Canadian actress Jodi Behan. You can find her on Facebook. She WAS a student at Loretto Abbey Catholic Secondary School.
Sorry to burst your Bridezilla bubble!
