Default What do you think?

I saw this on Ebay, and I'd love my bridesmaids to wear these sets, I was thinking about getting them as the gifts, and putting them into engraved champagne flutes and wrapping with cellophane and a bow...too much?

The seller offered the sets to me at $5.95 apiece, before shipping. They'll end up at about $10 after shipping & tax.

The engraved flutes I am looking into getting them are $13.95 each.

If it'll go with their dresses then why not? What is the neck-line on their dress like? And do you know what their hair will be like?

My MOH didn't wear the necklace I bought her for the wedding! She wore something else she pickedfor it

LOL
They'll be light blue (Alfred Angelo Blue Jay color) strapless dresses, with a very slight sweetheart neckline. MOH will have an updo, 1 BM has just cut her hair into a chin length bob, and the third I think will have an updo as well, but I haven't confirmed that with her yet.

EDIT:

I think it is a good idea, as long as it is the type of necklace and earrings that your BMs will wear. You don't want it to be a wasted gift.

Or, if it matters to you that they wear the jewelry you pick out and/or all have the same jewelry, give it to them as long as you don't mind if they don't wear it again.

To be honest, it's very pretty, but not my style, for example. I'd wear it as a bridesmaid if the bride asked me to, but I wouldn't wear it again, most likely. Others would probably wear it all the time.

I didn't give my adult bridesmaids jewelry because they all have very different tastes and I knew I'd never be able to pick things, even if I picked different things for each one, that they'd definitely like and wear again. I told them to wear what they liked. I did give my junior maids jewelry though.

We've all got pretty similar tastes for the most part, so I'm not too worried about them liking it. I don't necessarily think they'll wear the whole set often, but I do think they'll probably wear them seperately.

I think it's great! I got a necklace that the bride made for us when I was a bridesmaid and I thought it was awesome that she got us something that we could use another time.

I think I'm going to ruin the surprise for my MOH and ask her if she'd prefer a different set to make her stand out. But I'm going for it for the other two

Bree,

Did your BM's end up liking these? I saw them on Ebay and wanted to get them too. Also, what was your seller like?

c'mon, you've been married for a whole DAY now! it's time to log on!
