How to store your pre-made wedding bouquets
If you are making your bouquets in advance of the wedding, here is a cheap way to ensure that they stay dust-free and do not get crushed before your big day. My step-mom came up with this idea, so I cannot take credit! What I can tell you is that we did this with my bouquets (which were made months before the wedding), and my bouquets looked brand-new on my wedding day.
Gather a few sturdy cardboard boxes (the type/size that hold 10 reams of paper - they usually have a lid that comes off the box). Turn them upside down; punch two holes in each box bottom. Each hole should be about an inch or so in diameter (larger or smaller, depending on how wide your stems are). Space the holes so that the bouquets will not be pressing against each other. Put the stems of each bouquet through one of the holes (two bouquets per box). Then, put a LOOSE layer of plastic wrap over the bouquets (you can also use plastic bags you get at stores like Target or Walmart) and put the boxes on the top shelf of a closet or some other out-of-the-way place that is not exposed to a lot of light.
I had hand-tied bouquets, but I'm sure that if you changed the size of the box holes, this would work with bouquet holders as well.
