Hello,
Do the flowers have to be the same in the brides bouquet and the bridesmaid bouquets? I don't know if it would look stupid for them to carry tulips and for me to carry something else.

Not at all. Frequently the bridemaids' flowers are more tuned to the colors they are wearing or the overall theme of the wedding. The bride would usually carry a larger bouquet, and may or may not incorporate some of the same flowers as the bridesmaids. Usually the groom's boutiniere will be one of the flowers in the bride's bouquet, and the groomsmen will reflect that of the bridesmaids.

It won't look stupid at all for your BM's to have different flowers than you. My BM's bouquets were different from mine (with the exception of a just few roses in theirs) and they looked beautiful in my wedding.

At the moment (wedding is still 8 months away so I have time to change my mind - hee hee) I am planning on the BM bouquets being made up of mango calla lilies and bear grass, and my bouquet made of of the mango lilies and bear grass with the addition of burgundy calla lilies. They have the similar theme with the calla lilies, but will be different bouquets. But honestly, I think that if they were all completely different, it would still be pretty! Another idea I was thinking of doing was having a different flower carried by each bridesmaid (all roses for one, all lilies for another, all gerber dasies for the next etc), and me carrying a bouquet made up of a combo of all of those flowers together! To cut costs (if that is a concern), you could even have each BM carry a single stem of their flower in a ribbon and have your bouquet made up of all the types of flowers.
