I am allergic to roses, I am also getting married in the fall on the east coast. I would love to hear of some ideas that brides have used instead of roses. thank you....

If you like roses, go the silk route. My daughter's flowers will be calla lillies with roses (sorry!) and the BM are just calla lillies. Not much help!

My bouquet will be calla lillies hand tied with blue delphinium and purple larkspur. MOH's bouquet is a combo of the delphinium, larkspur and a few pink spray roses. You have tons of choices other than roses!

There are many flowers that have no scent. Your florist should be able to give you ideas. Many will be less expensive than roses as well. If all else fails, you can go the silk route.

If yu like roses that much, silk would be your best option. They'll look real (esp. in the pictures), and you can keep the bouquet!

Iam having all silk flowers because I want to know what exactly I'm getting and also I intend keeping my bouquet and perhaps giving it to my mum.

Did you ever see a bouquet made entirely of Stephanotis? Beautiful!

Stephanotis is beautiful, but it is also delicate and has a fragrance, so it might not be the best choice for someone with allergy problems.

Just a thought ,how about white lilies & gypsophilia. With gypsophilia in your hair?

If roses are the only flower that you are allergic to I would just choose basically anything else. Silk is a really great option if you have tons of allergies, but otherwise, I would choose real flowers for my wedding. Real seems much more elegant than silk.
