scratching chin I just can't decide!!!!

Ok, i'm talking with a lady now that is helping me with my flowers. My colors are dark burgundy and silver for a september wedding, and my bouquet (also posted in bridal journals) has white callas with burgundy hydrangeas and other flowers. Here's a picture:

I love the burgundy in it because it will accent my white dress very well.
my situation is that the BM's dresses are going to be a dark burgundy as well, and I can't use the same flowers in their bouquets as mine because i'm worried about the burgundy in the flowers clashing with their dresses. So I came up with this idea, and just need some opinions on if you think it would look ok, please be perfectly honest, i'm welcoming any truly honest opinions!!
Ok so I was thinking to have an arm held bouquet with 3 callas, some white stephanotis (http://www.xenios.com/stephanotis.jpg) and some greenery. Then wrap the bouquet with white and silver satin ribbon(to accent girls dresses) in a criss cross pattern that looks kind of like this
my main question is...do you think this would look too plain (because of lack of color?) I think it would look really pretty next to a dark burgundy color, but what do you ladies think? Thanks for the help ahead of time!!! Any other suggestions would be wonderful too!!

IMO I think is going to look just fine, because of the contrast.......

I think you're right, it will be a nice contrast.

I agree too, since the dresses will be such a deep red, the contrast of the white and silver will look gorgeous.

FYI, I had all-white (and cream) bouquets for my girls, who were in a dark hunter green, and everyone complimented them. So don't worry about "no color" flowers.

Thank you girls so much! I feel better knowing that others think it would look ok. I thought that with the contrast it would look ok, but usually people don't agree with how I think . Thanks again girls you are awesome!

I know you are pretty much sold already but I wanted to add my two cents worth..........I think it is a great idea and the little flowers will look lovely next to the big callas!!

Can I 23rd that?! I think the contrast would work really well too. I had my MOH wear black & she carried fresh white peonies it went really well.

I don't know if you can make it out in the photo but my FGs had wrist corsages in white too, with some ivy & they were on black organza ribbon to tie the whole look together.

I don't think you need colour in the bouquets when the dresses will be colorful enough.

I think that will look really cool to have you with the the dard red in your flowers against the white dress and the girls to have the white flowers against their dark red dresses!

I think they are great. I did not contrast with mine and was happy. A contrast is even better.

I think the bouquet you posted would be great for the BM's because the white lilies will make it stand out, and if the burgundy shade's off it won't be noticable (it's only having burgundies next to each other that would concern me).

As for youself, maybe you should have the colors reversed? If your dress white or ivory? If it's white, the white flowers may not show up well - especially in pictures.
