Default Does it have to be?

A September wedding...

Does it "HAVE TO BE" Fall/Autumn colors?

Not that I don't like the Oranges,Yellow,Green,Reds, & Browns! I do!

As you know Iam just having a hard time with them!!!

What do you think?

Also, Does anyone know of a site that will give you colors together? Or will show you "What colors" are autumn/Fall colors?

Maybe I'm missing something!!!

Thanks for you help on this AGAIN

what about them are you having a hard time with? I think its they are the easiest colors to work with (probably because fall and all those colors are my favorite)

We had a beach-themed wedding in late September, and fall colors would NOT have worked at all. We went with muted pastels.

And Yelycraygirl posted a link that shows color themes. I can't find it right now, but maybe she can re-post it.

Go with whatever you want!!! Especially since your wedding/reception will be inside- you can decorate the room however you want.

Don't feel limited to fall colors because you are getting married in the fall. Choose whatever you want!

I think Steve posted a link to a thread in the What's Going on Jan. 07 thread to a site that has color coordinator-thingy. (Like my terminology? Lol.)

Wedding Color Palette Tool

If that doesn't work, I promise it's in the What's New at Pash and Bliss for January 2007.

go with whatever colors you want, but the key might be to not think you have to go with all these fall colors throughout. Try to use them as accents.

I had an October wedding and didnt have any "fall colors" in my wedding. My colors were basically champagne and black and there was a little rum pink in my dress. I say go with whatever colors you like.

Fall colors are not required. Also, try behr.com for color schemes. You can put in a color or two you like, and they will show you different complimentary colors. They have a lot more colors and shades than the pash tool, and you can "paint" rooms with the colors, and see them working together.

yes, i agree! just follow the colors you want. you don't need to pattern them with the season or anything. just decide on what you and h2b wants.

Somehow I missed this post... but here are my 2 cents....I don't think that anybody should use season colors just because they are the color of the season.... You should use any combination of color that you and FH like no matter the season. Here is the link that I posted a while ago....

It does'nt have to be those colours, you could have silver and white, which is what I plan to have for my wedding.

We're doing an October wedding and we are using the Autumn/Fall/Harvest theme and colors. Not because 'we haaaave to' because it's Fall, but because otherwise- we may have never been in agreeance on colors LOL (I wanted pink and black- he said HECK NO!)
We have found that Brown makes for a wonderful main color and is kinda trendy right now and we are complementing it with oranges and dark reds and gold.
You don't have to do the fall colors, but if you are drawn to them, I've seen all over certain Knot-y sites, some great ways of tying them together.
