Another one?!?!
I'm in ANOTHER wedding!
My best friend (who was also one of my BM's) is getting married this fall. I just got an email from her telling me what dress color to start looking at!
ACK! How am I going to afford TWO weddings within a year of each other?!

There's no way I'd turn down being in either wedding.
Like I said, one is my best friend. We've been through everything together. If I didn't have a sister, she would've been my MOH... I bet she feels the same about me. She didn't actually ask me to be in her wedding, but I didn't ask her to be in mine. We both just knew that we would be in the others wedding.
The other wedding is my sisters. I'm the MOH... can't turn that down!
I guess I'll just have to start saving money NOW! Hopefully our tax return will be enough that I can put aside a few hundred from it, too!

Yea, you really can't turn either down! lol Sorry. With being able to claim Natalie on taxes you should come out ok don't you think? I don't know what the tax laws are in OH but in WI they (if I remember correctly) give you a $2500 child tax credit. Can't remember for sure.
But yea, start saving! Even if it's only $20 a paycheck.

I was going to suggest exactly that.... start saving money.... I know that is more easy said than done, but if you put aside $10 -$20 monthly and don't touch it at all, at the end you will have enough for your expenses, or at least part of it, then if you just have to add something is more easy.... That's how I do it if I want to get anything or when I'm going home. I start saving $20s and then I do have the money available......

We actually get to claim BOTH kids this year... and since I didn't work for all of 2006, Jerry even gets to claim me. I hope that means a nice return! We could use it!

Delphi has a great forum NoMoreDebts based on the Dave Ramsey of taking control of and eliminating debt from your life. Plus there is another forum on frugal living.
So everyone can find a way to tighten up and save money. Now mayabe a third friend will get engaged!!

Good Lord I hope not! Luckily, most of my friends are either already married or completely single.

Just start saving every little bit you can and another way to help it all add up put your coin change all in a jar. That stuff adds up fast..... who knows it could be shoes!!
I have a piggy bank that on the side says shoe fund....... thats how I know it adds up fast. Every 2 to 3 months I have enough for a nice pair of shoes.

Nope, I haven't... I like navy blue But I need six of them - 3 for very busty women, two for average women and one for a skinny 17 y/o.
I'm really hoping to find a cheap-ish sundress for you guys this Spring... I don't think any of my BM's can afford much. And Marge, since your my MOH and my sister, I woudln't mind helping you out with the dress... 'cause I know you're going to be doing a LOT for me... hehehe

Julz, I don't know if you have one by you, but Deb's usually has really cute dresses that are around $60. Just a thought!

ACK! Natalie's gonna be in both weddings, too!
For my friends (in Oct) she's gonna have two of her three nephews (triplets) pull Nat down the aisle in a wagon! (The 3rd nephew will be the RB)

Too bad Nat grows too fast to wear the same dress in both weddings
But I wouldn't worry too much about it - she can just get a white Easter dress from Wal-Mart for ours!

She'll probably have to do the same for Steph's. They don't make FG dresses in 18-24 months
