calling all color experts lol
I need help picking another color to go with this blue for my wedding. I love this dress, and this is the color blue that I want in the wedding, along with silver. It's from davids bridal, they call it slate blue. My maid of honor is wearing this dress, but no other styles that I like come in this color for the bridesmaids to wear. What color should my bridesmaids dresses be? There're going to be a different style, will that look funny? A differnt style and different color. PLEASE HELP!!!!

When I first started reading I thought of silver. I'm not sure of another color besides silver I guess I would just have to play with it and see what looks good together. Have you tried to find a silver dress that looks good with it.

I was always a fan of the different colors, but I think it'd draw too much attention away from you if there was another girl with a totally unique (color and style) dress too. I'd say different styles same color or same dress different colors...

That's pretty much what I was going to say. I think the same style in silver would look very nice.

I just went on David's Bridal site. I didn't see silver, but periwinkle would work - good contrast.

Yep I think same color different style will probably work best, I'll see what I can find. Thanks!

We used light blue, navy blue and silver. When I saw the color of the dress I and read you were using silver, I thought a light blue would be pretty. A med pink might also work... but I don't think that was part of your vision.
Perhaps you could ask your bridesmaids if they like any of the dresses that come in that same color?
Good luck!

I agree all different shades and tints of blue. I think that will look amazing a monochromatic theme.

Like Breezy, I'm using lt. blue, navy blue and sliver, so that was my first suggestion.

Hmm.... You've picked a tough one to match up because it only comes in 3 shades & none of the other dresses are in the same fabic & colour...
My instinct is to either make your MOH stand out in some other way (different hair style & flowers for example) or to find another dress that comes in a similar shade but in more than one style...

You will probably want to find a similar fabric, and then worry about color. Also, has she tried that dress on? My BM's did, and it does not look like it does in the picture. HTH!
