They Really mean alot to me...So here's what I did! - The PASH Wedding Forums and Message Boards

I don't know if you will remember but at one point there was a thread started about how to ask your BM and MOH to be in your wedding party, and Heather posted a poem her friend gave to her asking...

I used it and made home-made cards for both my girls, I also took pictures!

Here is the poem incase you can't read it!

You welcomed me with open arms
When I was strange and new.
A smile so warm and so sincere,
Caring, trusting and true.

A friendship would blossom
With each passing day.
Growing stronger and brighter
In many a way.

Engaged am I now
To be married at last.
And for you, Alyssa, I have
A special question to ask.

When Fall 2007 is here
And I will be a blushing bride.
Would you do me the great honor
Of being on my side?

Those are great; I love the poem!! I wish I had thought of something like that, but I was so excited to be engaged I just blurted it out to all of my bridal party.

I did too! I felt like an idiot later; I actually asked my maid of honor while she, my DH, and another friend (who was one of DH's groomsmen) were moving furniture, about to build IKEA bookcases!

I was like, oh yeah, that was meaningful and well done.

On a funny side note, I wasn't even technically asked to be in the wedding coming up in July...she was like, "oh, you're one of the BMs." Hehe, but that's just her.

Thanks Girls! I sent them off today, So I figure about 1 and a half weeks and they should get them!!!

I wonder if they'll call me or e-mail? I guess we'll havce to wait and see!
