Default Opinions, Please...

So, I've been putting off picking my 'flower' for the wedding, as I'm not picky and whatever is on sale is always my first choice.

Now, my question.

With my colors being multi-shades of purple (with the exception of the hint o' pink on my dress) what do you think about just buying these for our bouquets?

http://www.save-on-crafts.com/daisybush.html

I can always find a cylindrical piece of foam to insert the stems into, then wrap the foam w/ purple ribbon and secure with pearl pins or a brooch or something. I just thought it would be nice NOT to have purple flowers since the girls are in purple and it would be too monotonous.

opinions, suggestions, rants and randomness appreciated

I think that purple for flowers would be just fine, Maybe some scattered purple in a mainly white boquet!

You can definatley pull off these flowers, it's really what you want!

Let me see if I can find a picture of what I'm talking about...

I'll have a look!

I think the contrast in white flowers against the purple dresses will be beautiful.

that bouquet is beautiful!

I really like the contrast of white on purple, too. I can always add purple ones into mine to take away from the white on white, or make one from purple gerbera daisies.

thanks, ladies

I think the daisy's will make a nice bouquets you could add a few little purple flowers or something to just spice it up a little. What would you do for the boys if you choose this for the girls.

eh, the boys will more than likely get the 'little purple flowers' or something just as nice. I really don't mind if they match (i'm seriously the opposite of anal when it comes to that)

I also thought about just purple handkerchiefs. The guys are wearing black suits with white shirts and matching purple ties (tbd by the groom) so whatever.

basically, i'm getting to the point where it's like... meh, whatev. just as long as there's something there.

i'm a horrible bride.

We did this. We took black and silver hankies and the guy at men's wearhouse showed me how to fold them so they were layered. We also got the guys matching ties that were red, black, and silver. The red in the tie matched the red shawls i got my girls.
