Mayan Riviera?
This is where Dave and I are "Seriosuly" looking for our honeymoon!
There's just SOOOOO much to choose from!!!
I would love to hear some "real Life" experiences or if you know anyone who has ever been?
Advice and feedback are greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks,
Jayme

We went there for our honeymoon and we ended up in a horrible hurricane. And from what I can tell, you would be there during hurricane season also. Apart from being there during a hurricane, it was nice. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort and loved it (for the 3 days we got to enjoy it). Here is where we stayed, and let me tell you, it was like a fortess during the hurricane!! http://applevacations.com/showHotel....mand=showHotel

I've been there twice, and my parents go there every year for a vacation. It's absolutely beautiful, but Amy is right that you will be going during the hurricane season. When it rains there, it absolutely pours and you will be stuck in the hotel for hours on end.

Nope, they're probably not going to tell you that. Some good ones will, but they're few and far between.

Haha, very true. But still, day after day after day, you're not going to want to stay in your hotel. You could check into a local hotel and do the same thing, for way less money.

Okay, it just worked! I think the site must have been having some trouble. It looks wonderful! I remember you being stuck down there, though, Amy. We were all tracking the storm and worrying about you. Someone reached your Dad by phone or IM or something, when trying to reach you...can't remember the details.
Glad you enjoyed what you could of it--and it's certainly an adventure to tell the kid(s)!

So where did you decide to go? Just noticed your wedding ticker says 12 days to go! Thats got to be the best feeling.
We are planning our ceremony and honeymoon in the Riviera Maya..Tulum to be exact. We're doing an all inclusive and since I fell in love with the beach chapel, we're having the ceremony there as well and just staying on for a week after.
Anyway, congratulations and heres hoping you have an amazing time wherever you go!
