Awhile back, in the old forum, I posted about my adventures with the paper store and them losing my order. That time I went in the first time and picked everything out and waited and waited until I called back and they said they couldn't find any order for me. I ended up going back and finding everything again. I re-ordered my stuff and got my box full of paper a few days later.
I realized that I hadn't heard about my ribbon order yet so I called the store. They told me when I place the order (for the second time) that they had to order ribbon in big bunches and it might take awhile. That was fine because I had plenty of time.
I called yesterday and got transferred to the woman who actually places the ribbon orders. She told me that I had ordered a Fabric Barn brand ribbon and they needed a $400 minimum to order more from them. It might take a long time and wanted to know when I had to have the ribbon by. That made me stop and think because I knew that I had in fact picked out a May Arts ribbon. This time I wrote things down so I pulled out my paper and gave her all the information I wrote down. She then proceeded to argue with me saying that they wrote down a different number and that's what I picked out. I don't know where she thought I got these numbers but she agreed that the numbers I had were for a green may arts ribbon.
After going back and forth a couple more times I explained my first encounter with the store and my growing frustration and anger. I heard her push some buttons and quietly she told me the two rolls of green May Arts ribbon would be in by this Wednesday and there would be a discount. I told her that would be a good idea and I that I am expecting a phone call.
It's sad because the store has great stuff for a great price but the hassle just isn't worth it. I'm so frustrated. Once I get my ribbon, I don't think I'll be going back any time soon.
