Hello to All
My name is La Wanda and I reside in Detroit, Michigan. I had planned for a Feburary 2008 wedding but he suprised me and we eloped. Now the actual wedding has been moved up to November 8, 2007 (one year to the date of us being married). Yes its a Thursday so I hope I can get some discounts in the planning process.
I have recently had my first bridal party meeting in December. It went very well. I gave the girls the option of purchasing the dresses ( I got 3 just because my bridal party are different sizes) or purchase their dress elsewhere. I gave them a color swatch of the the color I want them to purcase and I must approve the dress they select by a selected dated.
I plan for them for for a fitting sometime in January so they can tell me what they think.
Also I do have a wedding planner/coordinator and my Yorkshire Terrier Princess Tiffane is a part of my wedding. My theme is Winter Wonderland. My colors are red, white, platinum, pink(just a splash).
By me already being married I plan to have my best friend officant the ceremony.

Welcome to Pash and congrats on your vow renewal! Does everyone know you had eloped?
You'll find the women on here incredible (but I'm biased  ) and very helpful so don't hesitate to ask about anything.
We're also very nosy so I'll start - how did the elopement happen? I've always found it so romantic.

No everyone doesn't know that we eloped just mothers and grandparents.
The elopement happened by; I asked could we buy me another pair of boots (the ones I have cost a lot but are sooooo comfortable and I was ruining them at work). So he told me we could go to the Nike outlet in Monore, MI (10 min from Toledo) I saw the outlet mall come and go  and was like where are we going he said he heard of a better place and we ended up on the steps of the court house.
