mind blowing Anybody know any tangoes?

Rich and I want to do something a bit different. We are actually going to do a ballroom dance type dance, and I want to do a tango (Cause I LOVE to tango) or another sort of upbeat song. It seems that everyone I run into has a slow romantic song, and I want ours to be kind of an upbeat celebration or a slow song that is...i don't know. Does this make any sense? I don't want to end up doing the eighth-grade-slump-in-a-circle dance. Any ideas????

Not much help here either, we need to take lessons (I am a HUGE klutz!!), but I definitely love the idea of a tango. I love to break traditions! Do what you want, have fun with it, and it is sure to be memorable!!!

Is the problem that you want to tango, but don't know what to dance to? Maybe if there is a dance school nearby that you could call and ask for song suggestions, they'd help you out.

Love the tango! I took a class at school and my friend and I keep meaning to teach my FI, but we haven't.

What if you use instrumental for the song? I have Libertango by Astor Piazzola and Tango Flamenco by Volver Chambao. Both a little bit quicker. Or there's Santa Maria by Gotan Project. That one's from Shall We Dance. Looooove that one!

Good luck! And let us know your choice. Because now I'm totally curious.
