What color the MOH's dress should be?
I have a question... ja ja one more..... My colors are lavender, white and silver. That's going to be the overall decoration and the color of my junior bridesmaids dresses.... I was wondering, what color should the MOH use for her dress? Lavender or a different shade of purple????

It really depends is it important for her to stand out from the rest or does she want to blend in. I think if she wanted to stand out then go with a different shade. If she wants to blend in stick with the same colour. Oh and dont get a shade too close to the other BM dresses becuase then it will look like it was just a mistake and made from a different dye lot. Go with a few shades darker or lighter

Can I vote for a third option? If she wants to stand out, how about MOH wearing silver?

Most weddings I've been to the MOH has worn the same color and same dress as the bridesmaids. I haven't been to many with Jr bridesmaids, but in my experience they usually wear a different color form the bridesmaids, mainly b/c the dresses are diffferent and therefore the colors wouldn't match.
It is really up to you and the MOH - how much you want her to stand out.
Is your Jr Bridesmaid wearing the same color as the bridesmaids or another color? I'm not sure you would want to introdue yet a third color into the color scheme for the MOH, so have either the Jr or the MOH in the same color as the bridesmaids.

I am not sure but I think you might alreasy have enough colors.
I think that if you want her to stand out put her in silver.
Otherwise I think lavender will be best.

if you dont want to go with another color, then i would have the bm wear the same dress, and have the moh wear same color but different dress. you can also buy the bm all the same jewerly and have the moh wear something else.

I don't have bridesmaids.... all my "bridesmaids" are going to be girls, so all of them are going to be junior bridesmaids..... My MOH and I were talking yesterday and we didn't come up with a solution. But then I was thinking that if she use lavender for her dress, she is going to stand out anyway because she is going to be the only adult and the rest are girls..... so her dress is going to be different, her jewerly is going to be different.... So I guess that I already answer my own question....
Anyway but that's the situation.....

I agree with the silver idea. You don't want to have to worry about the different purples clashing... and silver would definitely set her apart!!

She will stand out as the only adult, but if you still want her dress to stand out you could put her in lavender with a darker purple as an accent (sash around her waist?). A lot of dress designers are making two colors an option right now. You could also just change her bouquet substantially from the juniors. Have the juniors carry pomanders and her with a regular bouquet.
