Default Yay!!!!

I get a new project!!!! One of my BMs is getting married next July (the day after my b-day to be exact!) and she was down last night. She had bought her dress earlier in the day and finally had some details to talk with me about. So, we were talking about veils and I asked her if I could make it (I need to redeem myself, mine could have been better). We all agreed that the prices for them are nuts in the store.

So I get to make a veil!!! Woo hoo!!! Plus, it's nice to have something to feel involved instead of just feeling like I'm buying a dress and standing up there. I think I'll hold off until after Christmas to start on it, but should be fun! And a little challenging too, as she wants it to kind of curl. I just wanted to share my excitement over something to do! Will definitely post pictures when it's done!

That's awesome! Are you going to lend her one of your 849 tiaras?

I only have four, thankyouverymuch. And two of those were from back in high school. One of which I've never worn.

And no, she's not a tiara person. She's just going to get some sparkly clips to wear in her hair.

applause Making a veil

Hi Everyone! This is my first post. My son is getting married 6-9-07 and I am so excited. I never had a big wedding and I don't have any daughters so I am very lucky that my sons fiance has become one of my best friends over the 5 years they have been together. She is asking my opnion about everything, we do shopping together and we are doing everything ourselves! I would love to make her veil and I know she wants a tiara any help you could give would be so much appreciated! I'm so excited to be able to talk to all of you after I have been reading your posts! Good Luck to all the future brides and Congrats to those of you recently married!

I have one I'm more than willing to sell...never been worn other than to try on. Otherwise, Ebay is a great place to search for tiaras and veils.
