Default wedding dress

Ok so looking at everyones dresses made me want to start looking online to see if I find any I like, my question is it ok to get a traditional dress for a 2nd marriage? Tell me the truth it won't hurt my feelings.

Why not? It's your first wedding to this man, correct?

Here is what my dress looks like (of course with different colour)

Mine is my second wedding, but DF's first. I have an ivory sheath type dress with spaghetti straps & beaded bodice & shear overlay, but very simple skirt, falling to just a sweep train. It's a compromise between BWW that neither of us ever had and (what I hope is) good taste, since we're not exactly teenagers (or 20s or 30s)!!!

I don't think that there's anything wrong with wearing a gorgeous wedding dress for a second wedding. The only thing you shouldn't do is wear a blusher veil (where you put part of it over your face.)

I am also a second bride but first for him. It is a new start for the two of you. Wear what you want, if that be a taditional white dress then wear it. If you had a small wedding the first time and you want a big one this time... It boils down to: it's your day, you two plan it how you want it

Thumbs up dress

I think you should wear the dress of your dreams. If you wanted you could play with color. I have seen some beautiful blush colored dresses, if you did not want to wear white.

There are no hard & fast rules anymore.
Second weddings use to be done quickly & quietly, without much ado.

You have lost love & found it again! What better way to celebrate that than with a wedding of your choice; not the way someone else wants the wedding or what it's suppose to be. If you have the resources to be able to afford a traditonal dress, then I say go for it.
Congratulations!

It's perfectly fine. Whatever suits you. Hope you don't mind posting your wedding gown here. We'd love to see it.
