Default Las Vegas Wedding

Hi, my only daughter just got engaged. I often said to my children, I don't care where you get married but I have to be present! I realize it is HER wedding but her and her boyfriend want to get married in Las Vegas and all I can think of is Elvis and a drive through at the Chapel of Love. There are so many websites out there that I just don't know what to think. Any suggestions on how to find a really nice place to have a wedding for family and friends.

You can find great resources at many of the top resorts, and of course Vegas has a wealth of unique locations where weddings can be held. I suggest that you contact a wedding coordinator who is either in Las Vegas, or a wedding coordinator near you who plans destination weddings to Vegas. Just go to [url="http://www.bridalassn.com"] to find a list of accredited coordinators, and start interviewing them to find the perfect fit. It's better to go with an experienced planner, either an independent one or one affiliated with your choice of resort, than to choose anyone or any place off of a generic 'Vegas weddings' Web site.

And of course, the bride and groom can talk to their circle of friends to see who either planned or attended a wedding in Vegas recently. Sometimes, a friend's friend or a friend's sibling has the perfect recommendation, with first-hand knowledge of a great wedding resource in Vegas.

Good luck!

We're getting married in Vegas. There are some awesome chapels inside the hotels. They're really pretty, and not too pricey. We're going with the Canterbury chapel in the Excalibur.

This may be late and I'm a new user but I wanted to add that I know someone who paid $5000 for 15-25 People at the Belagio. They decked out the place (and it's already very very pretty) and it was a huge hit. The best part was they didn't have to go home after the reception. They just had fun the whole time. Vegas weddings could be the best ever. Don't think of elvis and all, honestly I just came back and a lot of the chappels have closed down and more of the lavish hotel's are holding receptions.
